Myra Mae Creasey, age 93, went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2017 at Greenway Manor Nursing Home after a 6 month battle with cancer. She was born June 9, 1923 in Crawford County, Wisconsin to Gilbert and Jessie (Dull) Carver.
She married Perl Creasey on February 14, 1942. In addition to her role as mother she worked as a cook with the River Valley School District. She was a member of the Spring Green Community Church. She loved to cook and bake and share with others. Her cinnamon rolls, baked beans and pies were always crowd favorites.
She is survived by one sister, Viola (Conrad) Barnum of Sevierville TN, a sister in law, Marquerite Carver, Spring Green, her children Don Creasey of Boscobel, Linda (Phil) Roberts, Arena, Roger (Marcia) Creasey Arena, Bruce (Marilyn) Creasey, Richland Center. Nine grandchildren: Darcey Creasey (friend Todd), Dionne Dean (friend Dave), Slim (Renae) Creasey, Boscobel, Ryan Andretti, Richland Center, Fred (Shannon) Roberts, Arena, Ericka Roberts (friend Shawn) Monroe, Adrienne (Adam) Jacobus, Hastings NE, Spencer (Keeley) Creasey, San Francisco, CA, Jeremy (Amanda) Creasey, Sauk City, Traci Creasey, Richland Center. She is further survived by ten great grandchildren: Emma Creasey, Austin & Kaley Roberts, Dawson & Landon Jacobus, Liam & Lucas Creasey, Mason, Alyssa and Eliza Creasey, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Villa, Lloyd, William, Merlin, twin brother Myron, Lena, Albert, and Iola.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday June 3, 2017, at the Spring Green Community Church, 151 E. Bossard St., Spring Green. Rev. Kendall Harger will officiate with burial in the Spring Green Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday June 2, 2017 from 4-8 pm and from 9 a.m on Saturday June 3 until the time of service. The Richardson Stafford Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
