Subscription Update Obituary

Mary Ann Moore, of Richland Center, died surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, following a short illness. Mary Ann was born on August 25, 1927, in Marshfield, WI, to John and Rose (Drewek) Bloczynski. She was one of ten children and always loved spending time with her family. She married Gordon Moore of Richland Center on May 19, 1962, and they shared 55 happy years together. They have one daughter, Julie (Scott) Kammer. Mary Ann enjoyed singing & theater, and she was a past member of U.W. Richland Community Theatre. She was a dedicated member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for many years. She was an active member of the choir, past president of the PCCW, a member of the Women’s Catholic Order of Foresters, and organizer and contributor to countless funeral dinners and bake sales. She also spent many years volunteering with St. Mary’s Catholic School. She enjoyed being around children of all ages, and was a particularly proud grandmother to her granddaughter, Nicole Kammer. Survivors include her husband, Gordon Moore of Richland Center, a daughter, Julie (Scott) Kammer of Centerville, MN, a granddaughter, Nicole Kammer of Centerville, MN, 3 sisters-in-law, Clara Bloczynski of Marshfield, WI, Pat Marshall of Sextonville, Mary Ann Tubb of Plain, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose Bloczynski, 7 brothers, Sylvester, Lawrence, Ray, LaVerne, John, George and Thomas Bloczynski, 2 sisters, Leona Weis, Joan Knauf and a grandson, Michael Kammer.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M.  Monsignor Roger Scheckel will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Stafford Funeral Home from 4:30 P.M.-7:00 P.M. where a parish rosary will be recited at 4:00 P.M.  Visitation will also be held on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass at 11:00 A.M.  Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic School.  Online condolences available at www.staffordfuneralhomes.com.
