Subscription Update Obituary

Marjorie J. Joyce age 90 of Richland Center passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Schmitt Woodland Hills. She was born on July 7, 1926 the daughter of Glen and Kathryn (Yakley) Nourse in Sextonville, WI.  She was married on January 24, 1948 to Thomas B. Joyce.  Marjorie graduated from the Lone Rock High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  She worked at Central Center of Madison for 18 years.  Marjorie enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, tending her vegetable garden, country music and was an avid Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer fan.  Survivors include, 6 children, Michael Joyce of Avoca, Patrick Joyce of Madison, Sheila Joyce of Madison, Debra Joyce of New York City, Daniel Joyce of Madison, Nancy (Kenneth) Pierce of Poynette, 3 grandchildren, Sheila and Rebecca Joyce and Kayla Pierce, a great grandson, Caleb, brothers and sisters-in-law, Patrick (Karen) Joyce of Cambridge, Joan (Tom) Sinniger of LaCrosse, Irene Joyce of Richland Center, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Kathryn Nourse, her husband, Thomas Joyce, a son, Francis Joyce, 2 brothers, Francis and Noel Nourse and a sister-in-law, Mary Nourse.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Richland Center, WI.  Monsignor Roger Scheckel will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of choice.  Online condolences available at www.staffordfuneralhomes.com.  The Stafford Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
