Pat & family, My thoughts are with you. I worked with Lou at the Department of Justice--my first state job--29 years ago. He was always very nice to me and even had a nickname for me when he called in to check his messages. He was a great guy.

To the entire Tomaselli family~ The world has lost a very special and charismatic person, but heaven has gained a very special angel. I met Lou, when I worked up north in the early 90s and he was on an investigative case. He had such a contagious laugh and a sense of humor that was loved by all. I remember his story telling and would often question whether he was kidding me or not. I remember him telling me his love of wolves. After leaving the area in central Wisconsin and moving to the Madison area I had chances to discuss investigative matters with him to gain his insight and knowledge. The investigative world has truly lost an expert; I will treasure all that I learned from him!! Lou, I hope your free spirit and laughter continues to soar in heaven!! You will be forever missed but never forgotten!!

Sorry to hear of Lou's death. We met when he started with Wisconsin Department of Justice. It was such a pleasure to visit with Lou and he was such a great person. Even though we had little direct contact over the years we were always exchanging greetings through other contacts. He will be missed but he did make a difference in his life Mike Guerin

Pat and family, So sorry to hear this sad news about Louie. I was looking forward to seeing him in a couple of weeks to have fun with him and his wonderful attitude. Many times I had liked to live closer to you guys and enjoy both of you. May God be with you and your family during this trying time. An "old" friend from the Southside. Joel Anstett

Lou was one of the early friends and influences on me in my very early career as a special agent with the Dept. of Justice. He was friendly, kind and willing to share advice with me when others did not welcome women in law enforcement. He had many, many stories; often insightful, some of them a bit of BS, but he was always willing to laugh, even at himself! My deepest condolences to the friends and family of a remarkable man.
