Kenneth ”Kenny” F. Albrecht, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on August 12, 2017 at home. Kenny was born on April 2, 1944 in Hazel Green, WI the son of Delmar and Aleda (Breed) Albrecht. Kenny grew up in the River Valley area and called home to many places. Some of his favorite places were Tucson, AZ, Irish Valley Road and Reedsburg, WI. He was a business man and took great pride in operating his business, Albrecht Construction. Kenny served in the United States Army from 1966-1968 and was an active member of the American Legion Post #398 in Plain, Wisconsin. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Bonnie and his sons, Michael Albrecht and Todd Albrecht, his step children, Gary (Sheryl) Mueller, Ann (Kevin) Brey and Junior (Trisha) Mueller, grandchildren, Cody and Chelsea Albrecht, Adam and Alyssa Mueller, Brenna and Shae Brey, Tad (Trisha) Garrelts and Austin and Jackson Mueller, great granddaughter Jaden Garrelts. Sisters and brothers, Sherry (Denny) Simmons Bentheimer, Bonnie Mihlbauer, Virgil (Dawn) Albrecht, Della (Tom) Alt, David Albrecht, Duane (Connie) Albrecht, Kyle (Bev) Albrecht, Larry (Sheila) Albrecht, Debra Heil, Wendy Albrecht, Danny (Eva) Albrecht, Kathy (Ray) Ingold, Tim Albrecht, and Tina (Jim) Holden.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, brother Arlon Albrecht, nephew Jeremy Albrecht. A Mass in memory of Kenny will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain. Fr. John Silva will officiate with burial in the church cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Plain American Legion Post #398. Visitation will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Catholic School Endowment Fund. Online condolences available at The Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
